It appears that cars.com wanted to generate some "buzz" by selecting a pickup truck as the "Luxury Car of the Year." I suppose they've accomplished their goal. But it's at the expense of any semblance of logic.

When it comes to luxury, the only brands that come to mind are Cadillac and Lincoln but not a Ram.
